Malaysia is in many respects as diverse as Thailand and equally as amazing and enriching a country to travel through. I would rate it very highly in the places to visit. Kuala Lumpar is an amazingly modern city and ChinaTown is a must experience for any visitor. Away from the hustle and bustle of KL there are islands galore to explore, Penang, Langkawi, Pangkor and the Perentians are all well worth visiting. Other highlights would be the Cameron Highlands and Melaka. The people there are friendly, helpful and polite and traveling is soooo incredibly easy.
