"Paris in the spring" is the old cliche and that was the case when we chose to visit for a four night stay. It's a city break that you won't have to plan, just make your way around its most famous sites and you can't go wrong.
You can walk up the Eiffel Tower for some spectacular views, make your way around the Louvre and its endless rooms of incredible paintings, the Mona Lisa drawing the biggest crowds for what in fact is a very small painting, endless artifacts and sculptures. Then there's a cruise down the river Seine, another climb up and down the spiral staircases of the Arc de Triomphe, an atmospheric stroll around Notre Dame, paintings at Artist's Square and not forgetting the impressive Sacre Coeur. Make sure you have a night out around Moulin Rouge, an interesting area for a drink at night.
Evidently we went here many years ago - as we both have lots of hair!!!
