Singapore is a great place for a three or four day break. Must do's are the Botanical and Japanese Gardens, Night Safari which is a fantastic experience, Sentosa Island via the cable cars and of course some serious shopping along Orchard Road. At night, take a pleasant stroll down Clarke Quay and end up at Boat Quay where alfresco dining is the order of the day. No trip to Singapore is complete without a visit to Raffles and the Long bar for a "proper" Singapore Sling, take your credit card though, they are addictive!
